Nigella Lawson praises Kokoretsi, Souvlaki and Pastitsio directly from Mykonos

Famous British chef Nigella Lawson loves Greek Food. In her recent visit to the island of Mykonos, Lawson could not hide her excitement about Greek street food delicacies:

Kokoretsi roll, made of  lamb intestines wrapped up in spicy offal and grilled. She described it as “an offal-lover’s dream.”

Souvlaki with wrapped in pita bead, tomatoes, onions  and garlic-yogurt sauce tzatziki.

A hearty Pastitsio, the traditional Greek dish of pasta baked with ground meat and bechamel sauce was also top among her Greek favorites.

She was so exited that she posted it about these on her social media accounts.

Right on the first day of her arrival in the heart of the Aegean Sea, Nigella Lawson enjoyed a simple lunch with lots of mezes.

Lawson was in Mykonos and attended the wedding of Australian chef George Calombaris.

In a picture uploaded by famous Greek pastry chef Stelios Parliaros, Nigella is the only woman among a group chefs as males are dominant in this profession.

She did not reveal whether all this great food inspired her for the creation of some new recipes.
