Free admission to Greece’s archaeological sites and museums on Oct 28

Archaeological sites, museums and monuments across Greece will offer free admission to public on Sunday, October 28, a national holiday, the Greek Culture Ministry said on Monday.

In a statement the Ministry reminded that ticket prices for all archaeological sites and museums will be reduced during the period 1. November 2018 to 31. March 2019.

Admission will be free to all sites and museums on the 1. Sunday every month, also during this period.

It should be reminded that on October 28th, the Acropolis Museum offers free admission not only to its permanent exhibitions but also to the temporary “Forbidden City: The Private Apartments of Emperor Qialong.”
