Greek authorities ordered ferries to remain docked at the ports of Piraeus on Friday noon due to powerful winds blowing with intensity of up to 9 and 10 Beaufort in the South and the East.
The ferries ban from Piraeus will be in power until 6:00 p.m. at least.
No ferries operated form the ports of Rafina and Lavrio in South-East Attica for the island group of the Cyclades in the central Aegean Sea.
Flying dolphins are banned from sailing in the Saronic Gulf.
Ferry lines Rio-Antirio and Kavala Prinos are not operating.
Halted is also the sea link between Salaminia-Megara.
Passengers planning to travel the seaway are advised to contact local port authorities and travel agents.
