Greece’s Civil Protection issued a warning about “very high risk” for forest and wild fires for Sunday, August 25th 2019.
The regions at very high risk are:
• Attica, Viotia, Evia, Argolida and Corinth
Orange marks “Very High Risk” and Yellow “High Risk.”
Severla forest and wild fires are raging again across the country today.
Two firefighters were slightly injured when their truck overturned at the highway near Egaleo in West Athens where a fire has been raging since early afternoon.
