Union of Greek Shipowners to renovate state hospitals, donate bed linen

The Union of Greek Shipowners singed a memorandum with the Greek Health Ministry according to which they will undertake the cost for the renovation of washrooms in state hospitals in Attica as well as renew the supply of bed linen and blankets for state hospitals across the country.

2,671 washrooms(bathrooms) will be fully renovated and another 96 are to be constructed in the hospitals in Attica. The porject is expected to be concluded in six months.

100,000 bed linen, 25,000 pillows and 25,000 blankets will be supplied to 120 state hospitals.

The total cost of the donation is estimated at 6 million euros and is expected to be concluded within the next two months.

PS Odd. In the list of Attica hospitals is also Laiko in Athens that has already undergone a renovation recently with renovated bathrooms, wall paintings in patient wards, doctors’ rooms and corridors.
