Three beaches in Greece are included in the list of “World’s Best Beaches” published by TripAdvisor. One of them is among the Top Ten, while the other two are still among the Top 25.
The ranking is based on TripAdvisor voters.
Kleftiko, Milos is in the 10th place on the list. It is not the beach with the classic definition we all know, but it is a magnificent landscape, a complex of spectacular volcanic white rocks in turquoise waters, accessible only by sea and ideal for swimming and exploring.
Elafonissi, Crete is on the In the 21st place. It is one of the most popular destinations in the prefecture of Chania. Here, the setting is tropical, with shallow turquoise waters and white sand that takes on purple shades of thousands of broken shells.
Balos, Crete is on the 24th place. Another famous beach of Chania prefecture. The lagoon with the white fine sand like powder and the deep waters that have all the tones of blue and green looks literally as if out of postcards.
