No new COVID-19-related deaths in the past 24 hours but five new confirmed cases, the Greek Health Ministry announced on Friday afternoon.
Four of the five new infections were traced to a known source and one was diagnosed on an incoming flight.
The total number of COVI-19 infections has reached 2,909, the death toll stands at 175.
Of the total cases, 631 concern people infected during a travel abroad, while 1,660 people have been infecte din gReece.
16 patients are intubated in hospitals Intensive Care Units. Their average age is 67, five of them are women. 81.2% have underlying health problems or are over 70 years old.
A total of 105 patients have been discharged from ICU’s since the coronavirus outbreak.
Among the 175 deceased, there were 52 women. Average age of the deceased was 76.
94.9% of the deceased had underlying health issues and/or were over 70 years old.
A total of 174,844 tests have been conducted since the outbreak in late February.
