“We are not on the side of war” Mayor of the Turkish coastal town of Datca Gursel Ucar said while he unfurled a peace banner with swimmers who have partnership with swimmers from Greek island of Symi.

The Annual Swim for Peace between Symi and Datca was held on September 1, despite that the event was officially called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It is nice to have such events especially when the official Ankara keeps fueling nationalist and warmongering rhetoric, threats and blackmails against Greece.
I wonder what percentage of average Turkish people would support Erdogan into a war against the neighboring country.
