Seven in ten Greeks are worried about the course of the pandemic in the country, while they express concern about the , Turkish aggression in the East Mediterranean at an even higher rate, a public opinion poll has found.
According to the poll conducted by Pulse on behalf of Skai, 70% of respondents said that they are concerned about the pandemic.
73% said that they are concerned about Turkey’s stance towards Greece. While 55% of respondents approves the way the Greek government deals with Turkey, just 12% approves the German stance towards Turkey.
According to the poll, ruling conservative New Democracy leads with an 18% difference over main opposition, left-wing SYRIZA.
Asked which party they would vote if elections were held now, 41.5% said ND and 23.5% said SYRIZA.
Third in the respondents’ choice is KINAL/PAOSK with 7%, followed by the Communist KKE with 6%, the far-right Greek Solution with 4.5% and Varoufakis’ MeRA25 with 3%.
