Greece’s Government spokesman announced on Monday rules for celebrating Christmas and New Year and also the re-opening of nail-shops as of Tuesday, December 15.
Gatherings at home on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as on New Year’s Eve and New Year Day will be limited to a maximum of 9 people from two families.

Regarding the opening of nail-shops, the government spokesman cited allegations that many customers were illegally scheduling appointments with manicurists for a mani-pedi treatment at home.
Petsas said that “phenomena of black work” -that is of nail professionals visiting homes – have been observed and that it is better that they operate with rules and health protocols than “without control at homes.”
#briefing_petsas

Nail shops open again on Tuesday morning, December 15, 2020, with strict health rules and with appointment only.
The government allowed the re-opening of hair-salons and book stores before Christmas and the opening of seasonal shops selling only Christmas items.
Retail stores remain closed with the exception of click-away service for orders order via e-shop or telephone.
Especially small and medium store owners without e-shop complain about the effectiveness of click-way. Many say that they could avoid crowding by making appointments with customers. However, the government claims that the crowding will occur on the streets and not in she shops.
Click away is all well and good on the main land but they forget those of us on the islands!
We are moving places and we are not able to buy a f…… shower curtain and the needed support frame as every household shop is closed!! And if we buy one online it will not be delivered or you will be fined because you’re waiting outside the courier service with masks on at distances of more then 2 meters because of unnecessary movement … What the fuck is wrong with this country, their government and their police?
