Greece’s National Meteorological Service (EMY) issued a weather warning for the next few days due to consecutive barometric lows that will bring heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms and gale-force south winds.
The first wave of weather deterioration is forecast mainly in the West of the country from Saturday noon, January 23, 2021. The second one will hit on Sunday afternoon, Jan 24.
A new weather deterioration with set in on Tuesday, Jan 26 with snowfalls, locally, dense, and significant temperature drop.

from noon/afternoon: islands in the Ionian Sea, Epirus, western Sterea; temporarily in the evening: western Peloponnese.

Ffrom afternoon hours: Ionian islands, Epirus, western Sterea,; late in the evening also western Peloponnese.
Weakening of the phenomena in the early morning hours of Monday.
Tuesday, Jan 26
New weather deterioration in the early morning hours of Tuesday. It will start in the North-West with rainfalls and thunderstorms locally intense.
Forecast are also snowfalls, locally dense, initially in the mountainous and gradually also in low altitudes in the northern parts of the country.
Significant temperature drop and again gale-force winds.

7-8 Beaufort in the open seas from Sat (Jan 23) until Mon (Jan 25).
They will probably reach locally 9 Beaufort in the North Aegean Sea on Sat night.
