An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale rattled the island of Lefkada in the Ionian Sea on Thursday morning. The moderate tremor occurred at 10:52 on Thursday in the sea region of the island of Lefkada, the Athens National Observatory Geodynamic Institute announced.
The epicenter was located 14 km South-West of Lefkada, just 4 km south of Nydri. It had a focal depth of 10 km.

No injuries or material damage has been reported, so far.
