Greece: 3235 new coronavirus cases, 70 deaths, 755 intubations

Greece health authorities announced on Saturday evening, 3,232 new coronavirus infections and 70 deaths due to Covid-19 complications in the last 24 hours. A total of 755 patients are in ventilators in the country’s hospitals.

Death toll due to the pandemic is 8,302. Number of infections since the pandemic start stands at 273,459.

Infections daily change: +1.2%.

Τests in last 24 hours: PCR :19,427 &  RAPID: 42,694

Positivity PCR & RAPID: 5,2%

In the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 93 infections are related to travel from abroad and 3,270 to other confirmed cases.

So far, a total of 1746 people have been discharged from hospital ICUs.

449 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours (daily change of -20.11%. The average admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 476.

Hospitals in Athens are still under immense pressure.

According to Open TV on Saturday evening, 72 Covid-patients in ventilators waiting for a bed in ICU.
