Supermarkets and retail stores in Greece will operate with specific opening hours on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, April 30 and May 1, the Development Ministry said on Thursday.
Note that supermarkets and retail stores are closed on Easter Sunday and Monday, May 2-3, 2021.
Good Friday April 30
Super markets will open at 9 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
Retail stores open from 1 o’ clock noon until 7 p.m.
Holy Saturday May 1
Supermarkets open 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Retail stores 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Many stores (food, retail, supermarkets etc) will be closed also on Tuesday, May 4, as workers’ union have transferred the strike day of May 1 to May 4.
