Mini Lockdown in Argolida, Evrytania; extension in 5 regional units (Covid-Map)

Greece’s Civil Protection imposed a mini lockdown to the regional units of Argolida, Peloponnese, and Evrytania, Epirus, with the aim to contain the spread of the coronavirus. At the same time, they extended the restrictions in the regional units of Achaia, Ilia and Messinia in Peloponnese, of Heraklio on the island of Crete as well as to the island of Ikaria, Dodecanese.

Restrictions in Argolida and Evrytania are in effect from 6:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, until 6:00 a.m. September 16, 2021.

The mini lockdown measures are:

Night curfew from 01:00 a.m. until 06:00 a.m. with the exception for work or health reasons

Music ban in bars, restaurants, beach bars, entertainment parks and other venues except at wedding and christening receptions, a ministerial decision ruled.

At the same time, authorities extended the restrictive measures for Covid in the regions of Achaia, Ilia, Messinia, Heraklio and Ikaria until September 16, 2021, due to evaluation of the latest data, the Civil protection said in a statement issued today, Thursday.
