Greece National Meteorological Service EMY updated on Monday its weather warning on bad weather front “Bianca.” EMY said in the update that the barometric low “Bianca” has already moved northeast and the intense weather phenomena show on Monday a temporary weakening.
However, there is a new deterioration from Tuesday, March 1, 2022, that is forecast to last for two days.
Main features of the weather deterioration will be locally heavy rainfalls and thunderstorms in the central and southern Greece and locally heavy snowfalls in the central and northern parts of the mainland.

Heavy rains and thunderstorms will occur in Thessaly, the western and central Sterea, eastern Peloponnese
and Crete.
Dense snowfalls will occur on the mountainous mainland, the semi-mountainous areas of Epirus, Thessaly, western and
central Sterea and in areas with lower altitudes of the western and central Macedonia.
Wednesday, March 2
Heavy rains and thunderstorms will occur in Thessaly, the western and central Sterea, South Ionian islands, western
and southern Peloponnese, Crete, southern Cyclades and the Dodecanese.
Dense snowfalls will occur on the mountainous mainland, in the morning also on the semi-mountainous Thessaly and
central Sterea and gradually in the peninsulas of the Peloponnese and in the mountains of Crete.
Winds will be blowing with intensity of 7 to 8 Beaufort.
