“Flights as usual on April 6,” says Greece Civil Aviation after court decision

Flights to and from all airports in Greece will operate as usual and without problems on the day of the general strike on Wednesday, 6. April 2022, the Civil Aviation Authority announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The CAA sought the legal way to declare that the 24-hour strike of the air traffic controllers was illegal.

Following an appeal by the CAA, a court in Athens ruled that the 24-hour strike by air traffic controllers, electronic and telecommunications engineers was illegal.

In this sense all flights to and from all the airports in the country will take place as normally, state-run news agency amna reported.

If you plan to travel tomorrow, please, check with the airline company or your travel agent.
