Powerful northern winds blowing locally with intensity up to 9 Beaufort disrupt sea traffic in the Aegean Sea on Monday, October 17, 2022. Affected are mainly the routes to the Cyclades islands.
Monday morning the schedules to Cyclades from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina, in South-East Attica,Problems, were canceled, media report.
Itineraries from Piraeus port to the islands of the Saronic Gulf operate as usually.
From the port of Rafina, only the routes to Marmari operated, while after 11 o’ clock in the morning, the routes Agia Marina-Nea Styra were expected to operate again.
No ferries or ships are allowed to sail from the port of Lavrio, also in south-East Attica.
