Hellenic Train – former TrainOSE – has warned train passengers about disruptions and big delays to services following a derailment on Friday morning.
The first wagon of Intercity 882 Athens-Kalambaka derailed as the train was entering the station of Tithorea in Fthiotida regional unit around 10:00 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
It’s not yet clear what caused the train to come off the tracks.
The train was delayed reportedly due to construction works at the network.
