More people were admitted to hospital for coronavirus during the week of February 13-19, authorities said on Thursday, while the number of recorded infections did not change.

95 deaths were recorded for the Feb. 13-19 week, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said. The median age of the deceased was 86 years.
Flu cases rose and 2 new deaths were recorded, while influenza-like illnesses dropped. Three new cases had to be hospitalized in ICUs during the past week, while two people died, EODY noted. Since the seasonal registration of influenza cases, 64 people have been admitted to ICUs and 21 have died.
Flu-like illnesses showed a drop in all age groups except for those aged 0-4 years, which remained the same. The number of respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, cases remains unchanged from last week.
