Workers at Greece’s trains managing company Hellenic Train launched one more strike, this time a 48-hour one over the weekend, March 4-5., 2023, following the deal train collision on Tuesday night.
They will hold a protest outside the Parliament at 11 a.m. on Sunday and demand the immediate implementation of safety measures.
The strike is joined also by the Panhellenic Federation of Railway Workers (POS).
Train workers have been on strike since March 1.
POS had reportedly already announced that it is drafting a memorandum listing all its concerns with the operation of the railway.
PS Let’s see if the government will take concerns seriously or ignore them as it did before.
Please don’t let the government cause a fatality in any student protests………
