Greece’s railway unions announced one more 24-hour strike on Monday, March 6, 2023.
The strike affects all train services carried out by Hellenic Train, said the company, including all Athens suburban railway services Proastiakos.
The Panhellenic Railway Federation plans meetings with the Transport Ministry and political parties.
“It’s time for those who managed the fate of the railway to give explanations,” they Federation said.
Railway workers have been on strike since March 1, when the deadly head-on train collision took place, killing 57 people.
