Residents in Thessaloniki, Pella, Imathia and Pieria, northern Greece, have received an alert message from the <112> emergency line of the Civil Protection, warning them of the possibility of dangerous weather phenomena from midday Monday onward.

The Civil Protection recommended that citizens limit their movements to only essential ones during the expected weather conditions.
At the same time, the National Meteorological Service EMY updated at 12 non Monday its weather warning bulletin regarding the storm ILINA.
Main features are heavy rains and storms, which will be accompanied in places by a high frequency of lightning, hail and strong winds, stormy in the Aegean Sea.

A. Monday, April 3: heavy rains and storms are forecast:
a) Ionian islands, Epirus, western and central Macedonia, western and central Sterea, Thessaly and western and southern Peloponnese. It is pointed out that until the early evening hours in the northern parts of Thessaly and in central Macedonia the phenomena will be particularly intense.
b) from late afternoon: eastern Macedonia
c) in the evening hours: Thrace, the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
The phenomena in the Ionian Sea, Epirus, western Macedonia, western and central Sterea, Thessaly and western Peloponnese in the evening hours will weaken.
B. Tuesday, April 4: locally heavy rains and storms are forecast at intervals
a) in eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese
b) until noon: central Macedonia
c) in the morning hours in the Cyclades, Crete, southern Evia and southern Peloponnese.
Locally gusty south southeast winds of 7 to 8 Beaufort will prevail
