Ferries, ships docked at Greece’s ports due to 24h strike on Labor Day

Ferries and ships in Greece will remain docked at the ports for 24 hours as the Panhellenic Seamen Federation will launch a strike on Labor Day, May 1, 2023.

The strike will start at 00.01 in the morning on Monday, May 1st, and will end at 24.00 at midnight of the same day.

“The Mariners once again this year pay tribute, respect and memory to the emblematic day that literally changed the course of history and is identified and intertwined with the multifaceted struggles of all Workers in our country and throughout the world.” says Federation PNO said in a statement.

If you plan to travel by sea, check with local port authorities and travel agents.
