Three people have died and 12 are missing when a boat carrying migrants capsized off the island of Mykonos early Friday morning.
Two migrants have been rescued, so far. The one Syrian and one Palestinian men, were spotted swimming in the area north-eastern of Mykonos. They were transferred to safety by the Greek Coast Guard

A Search and Rescue operation is under way, with two coast guard boats, one super puma helicopter as well as ground vehicles are operating at area of the incident.
Survivors told the Coast Guard that a total of 17 people were onboard, among them 4 to 5 women and a 7-year-old girl.
The bodies recovered from the sea belonged to one man and two women.
They said further that they had left Turkey and were heading to Italy.
