Epiphany Day: Traffic restrictions in Athens & Piraeus, Jan 6

Traffic will be restricted in the Kolonaki district of Athens and at the port of Piraeus over the celebration of Epiphany Day on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

In Athens, traffic restrictions will affect the Kolonaki area (around the Greek Orthodox Church of Agios Dionyssios Areopagitis on Skoufa, and the Dexameni section), while in Piraeus restrictions will be introduced at the Central Port of Piraeus.

Measures include bans on stopping and parking from 06:00 to 13:00 in Athens and Piraeus, and traffic diversions.

The schedule for the Athens tram line 7 (Asklipieio Voulas-Aghia Triada, Piraeus) will also be modified from 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturday because of the blessing of the waters at Piraeus. Trams will temporarily end at the ‘SEF’ stop, at the Peace & Friendship Stadium.
