In an unprecedented move a beach bar in Halkidiki, northern Greece, has decided to impose a dress code on its customers after a certain hour of the day. Those who do not comply they can be denied entry!
The issue came out after a customer made a reservation for a day at the beach bar that apparently offers also sunbeds and umbrellas.
The beach bar in question asked the customer to adopt “casual chic” attire after 5 p.m., or else entrance will be denied.
The management of the beach bar does not clarify the “casual chic” and it’s up to customer to define it.
In this sense, customers will probably have to change their 5-euro flip-flops with sandals or suede loafers, their shorts and pareos with linen trousers and dresses, so that they all be appear elegant in a sophisticated beach bar atmosphere after 5 o’ clock..
The message:
Even at well-known beach bars of cosmopolitan Mykonos, customers enjoy the beach, the sea and the drinks without any restrictions on clothing, media commented.

So ? What’s the issue ? Maybe sick and tired of people who want to sit on the terrace without shirts and in speedo? Don’t like it don’t go
(we also have a dress policy since 2 years because apparently people don’t understand that going for breakfast in a hotel means put a shirt on)
big difference between hotel/restaurant & beach bar. should customers carry their ‘causal chic in a suitcase at the beach?
Exclusion by economics , never good , polo shirts are good football shirts not welcome , Panama’s ok turbans not welcome .
Oh come on everybody, its obvious why…..too many But-Cheeks on full view in a g-string,too many boobies out,too many hairy chests exposed all the way down to private parts…..its time to say…NO….GET DRESSED….be a bit sophisticated.
