Greece’s National Meteorological Service EMY issued an emergency weather report on Monday warning of heavy rainfalls and storms in the next 48 hours.
The weather is forecast to deteriorate as of Monday afternoon, November 11, and last until Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Next to the rainfalls, the storms will be accompanied by a high frequency of lightning and hail locally.

on Wednesday:
the entire Ionian Sea islands, Epirus, western mainland, western Peloponnese and possibly the western parts of Thessaly.
