Upon police order, metro station <Syntagma> will be closed to public on March 24th and 25th 2013 due to students’ and military parades to mark Greece’s National Day.
The measure is imposed as parades in previous years turned into mass anti-austerity protests and harassment of politicians.
Metro wagons will pass through Syntagma station but will not stop so passengers can get on or off.
