A dog is not only man’s best friend but also man’s most loyal pet. A dog in Lamia refused to leave the car involved in a traffic accident until his owner, the driver, returned from the hospital.
According to Lamiareport.gr , the accident occurred at a dangerous road spot near the public hospital of Lamia, in Central Greece.
The driver lost control, the vehicle went off road and overturned.
One of hospital’s drivers heard the noise and rushed to help the driver get out from the wreck. The slightly injured man was taken to the hospital to receive first aid.
The driver had also his dog in the car but the dog although frightened refused to leave the car and remained in the overturned vehicle.
When his owner returned from the hospital, a bark full of excitement and joy welcomed him. It was only then when the dog left the ruined vehicle.
One of the drivers of hospital jumped the fence and found the first time near the driver , who were evacuated , fortunately slightly injured and was taken by ambulance to hospital .
