President of European Parliament said it clearly: that he would prefer if PM Tsipras had a coalition with To Potami. After a meeting with Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis, Schulz told media:
“For me it would be better, Mr. Tsipras had to work with To Potami and not with ANEL (Greek abbraviation for Independent Greeks), what he did. But we have to respect things as they stand. And let’s not forget, the current opposition is the government of tomorrow,” Schulz said adding that To Potami is ready to take responsibility for the country’s European course.”
It looks that Martin Schulz has understand much more about the social-democratic ideology of To Potami than millions of Greek voters.
No wonder, Schulz did not meet with ANEL- leader Panos Kammenos, as we wrote wondering this morning.
PS Well… Congrats!
