Parked cars are known to be very dangerous and incredibly unpredictable. Especially, if there is no driver in them. There have been times in the history of the parked cars that the innocent looking metal boxes on wheels turn into evil creatures that spread horror to everyone who comes near. One has just to think of John Carpenter’s “Christine”, a Plymouth that tortured and killed everyone around.
One of these evil cars has spotted on Saturday by a Greek riot policeman on the island of Kos. Together with his colleagues, the policeman was actually chasing Kos residents who were protesting the establishment of a registration center (Hot Spots) for refugees and migrants.
While protesters were running as quick as they could to escape police batons, the evil car, a blue Smart could not. It felt the heavy baton of the Law on its shoulders and ribs.
The beating of metal “protester” did not diffuse the inner tension of the riot cops. Another policeman spotted one more “enemy” … a parked motorcycle. He beat it with his baton and threw it over.

On Monday morning, Greek police announced “internal investigation” against the two riot policemen who confused parked vehicles with running protesters and damaged citizens’ assets.
The Greek internet laughs, and calls the incident “riot cop beats naughty car.”
Reminds a bit of the terror-police in Keratea when they damaged lots of citizens’ cars in the middle of the night, rioted inside the construction area of a retirement home and even had thrown molotovs inside a backyard of a house with sleeping children and burnt two cars this way; so far I can remember this came only known to public because the parents were working inside the local police station. Could be the same squad… but we all know that the MAT will be abolished soon, just as promised
it;s pure chemistry. Adrenaline!
