One tourist died and two others were injured, one of them seriously, when an all-terrain vehicle ATV collided with a private car on the island of Mykonos on early afternoon Thursday. The fatal accident occurred on the road between Chora and the Airport.
According to local media, dead is a 28-year-old US national, while her 38-year-old companion and driver of the ATV was seriously injured.
Injured was also the car driver, a 37-year-old foreign national, even though much slighter.
The two injured men were transferred with a helicopter to Thriassio Hospital in Attica.
The car was reportedly on the opposite lane, when the ATV diverted from its course and crashed on the vehicle.
Police on Mykonos is investigating the accident, a case-file has been formed.
