Greece recorded on Saturday the highest ever number of daily deaths: 108 Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours. Health authorities announced also 2,311 new coronavirus cases. The number of intubated Covid-19 patients increased again reaching 522.
Among the latest fatalities is a well-known DJ. 39-year-old Dimitris Bellos, aka DJ Decibel, reportedly had no underlying health issues. He was in ICU in Gennimatas hospital in Athens.
Ten elderly residents in the Geriatric ward of the Psychiatric Hospital in Dafni and 6 members of the personnel have been tested positive to Covid-19.
By Saturday, total cases have reached 90,121 and death toll 1,527.

20 Covid-19 patients have been discharged from ICUs in the past 24 hours.

According to the official daily bulletin on Saturday, 4787(5.3%) of the total coronavirus cases are related to travel abroad and 22901 (25.4%) are related to already known infection case.
The remaining infections are whiteout known source.
53.4% of the infected are men.
The number of intubated patients in ICUs increased to 522 !!! from 519 a day earlier. Their average age is 65, among them are 149 women. 82.4% have underlying health problems or are aged over 70.
460 people have been discharged from ICUs since the start of the pandemic in Greece.
108 more deaths in the last 24 hours increased death toll to 1527. Of the deceased 608 were women. The average age of the deceased was 80 and 97.1% of the deceased had an underlying condition or/and was over 70 years old.

Tests in the last 24 hours: 22,798 with 10.14% of them positive. A good, normal number with less reason for concerns is when positive is below 2%.
