It astounds me that the Government still is not conducting a higher number of tests on people to get a more accurate figure on the number of people that are infected. The vaccination programme seems to have stalled in the last week with the figures showing no new vaccinations but 2nd shots being administered only.
One could ask what lockdown!! Walking through Kata Patissia yesterday, we saw a group of about 70 people walking through the streets demonstrating, with only a few people wearing masks. The parks are full of people sitting around with no masks on. The 7pm curfew is non existent Anyone would think that there was no virus.
These people that turn their noses up to the governments measures to try and control the pandemic are the ones that will keep us in this lockdown for a longer period.
These lockdown measures are a joke as there appears to be no one policing the suburbs. There is no point in having laws if the are not enforced.
We are all tired of the lockdown but until everyone abides by the laws the situation will not change.
