Coronavirus cases rose to 27,490 and deaths to 73 in the past 24 hours, Greece’s health authorities announced on Monday. Confirmed cases in capital Athens exceeded 10,000.
The numbers have apparently shocked media, including the state ones, as the government prepares to lift remaining Covid-19 restrictions like the COVID-PASS and the use of mask in closed spaces.
One journalist went so far to say in first comments: How can we go to churches for the Easter and pre-Easter liturgies without wearing a mask?”
The number of intubated Covid-patients has decreased stands at 342.
Sunday, March 27:
13,429 coronavirus cases, 52 deaths, 342 intubations.

Dear KTG, when I click on the link to see the current corona-restrictions, I am referred to an article about Greek support for Ukraine. Can you please fix? Thanks and kind regards, Marc

Not important but it would be useful if the maps had an inset (a map within a map) of Athens (the Attica region). Easily done and would perhaps be helpful.
The (Greek) media and the journalists seem to be the only ones that care about covid restrictions now – lots of other countries are going back to some level of normality.
If you’re elderly, or have a pre-existing condition, there’s nothing to stop you carrying on wearing a mask whilst the rest of the world stops doing
