Erdogan threatens to strike Greece with missiles

Turkey’s ballistic missile test ‘scares’ Athens, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday, adding it “will not sit idly if Greece continues to arm the Aegean islands.”
It is the first time in the last few months, that the Turkish president does not reiterate his favorite threat “we’ll come suddenly one night.”
With an ongoing collapsing economy, he apparently calculated that he cannot afford to deploy an army against its NATO partner and neighboring country Greece, and the use of missile TAYFUN would be cheaper.
Of course, the question remain whether he can afford to fuel the missile that was tested one time in October..
According to state-run news agency Anadolu, in his speech Erdogan lashed out also at the USA saying:
“Turkey is NATO ally but US still backs terrorist groups in northern Syria. We will pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps.”
