Greece elections: Exit Polls show 8 parties may enter Parliament

Polling centers in Greece closed at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, and the exit polls show a clear victory for conservative New Democracy.

Not that exit polls are ‘estimations’ therefore the rates are vary.

Based on the exit polls, it is still unclear how many political parties will pass the 3% threshold and enter the Parliament. The number of ND seats will largely depend on the number of parties in the Parliament.

Exit Polls June 25 Elections

ND 40-44%

SYRIZA 19.1-16.1%

PASOK 13-10.2%

Communist KKE 9.2-7.2%

Nationalist Greek Solution 4.3-2.3%

Religious NIKH 4.3-2.3%

Pleysi (Ex AYRIZA Zoi Kontantopoulou) 4 – 2%

Varoufakis MeRA25 4-2%

Spartans (by convict Golden Dawn Ilias Kassidiaris) 6-4%

It is horrifying that three far-right parties will be present in the Parliament.

Participation was much lower than in the May elections. According to Interior Ministry it was 40.77% at 4:30 p.m., that is 8% lower than in May.

First officials results are expected between 8:30 and 10:00 p.m. local time.

  1. Equally horrifying are the communist and wannabe communist, aka far left parties, that will be joining. How anyone can run and vote for communism is beyond comprehension. Both extremes are disgusting. Voters there must have the collective IQ of a gnat.
