Femicide in Evia:An 88-year-old man shot and killed his 84-year-old wife on Friday.
“I didn’t have a good time with her, I got fed up and killed her,” the elderly perpetrator reportedly told police.
he had killed his wife in the head with a double-barreled rifle, while the victim was sitting in an armchair in their home.
The victim died instantly.
The body of the elderly woman was found by the couple’s son, who then notified the police.
According to local media eviaonline.gr, the man has been suffering from dementia.
The weapon, for which there is a possession permit, was seized by the police.
The man was arrested and is being taken to the Prosecutor.
