Police arrested three people in different parts of Athens on Thursday on suspicion of involvement in a child prostitution ring.
A 31-year-old woman and two men, aged 33 and 55, are suspected of pimping out children under the age of 15 and recording child sex abuse material, among other offenses.
According to media, the woman and the younger man were exploiting young girls pushing them to rich customers.
In parallel operations in the suburbs of Ekali, Kolonos and Korydallos launched by the Attica Juvenile Security Department on Thursday and arrested the woman, an Albanian national, and two Greek men, a member of the pimping ring and an elderly customer.

The woman is suspected of forcing three victims, aged 15, 16 and 17, to prostitute themselves in a central hotel in Athens.
The 33-year-old man is suspected of posting photographs of children online and of making them available to clients on at least 10 occasions in city center hotels.
The 55-year-old man is suspected of sexually abusing two minors at his residence in exchange for money.
The alleged offenses took place in 2022 and 2023.
The ring and the customer
The 31-year-old woman had a main role in ‘fishing’ underage schoolgirls and after convincing them to participate in the business in order to make money she pushed them into customers’ beds.
The 33-year-old man had the role of photographer and was in contact with wealthy clients in Athens. He would take sensual pictures of the girls in their underwear and uploaded them on porn sites.
The 55-year-old customer had reportedly paid 100 euros to have sex with underage girls, both individually but also in group orgies in the period July-August 2023.

Police seized large amounts of digital evidence during house searches.
According to news website newsit.gr, a case file has been also filed against 6 other people for participating in this pimping case.
