Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has canceled his trip to USA after he contracted H1N1.
The Greek PM was to participate to the JP Morgan roadshow and the investment forum in which the Greek economy will be at the center.
The trip cancellation was confirmed by the government spokesman in statement to Skai TV on Tuesday, who also said that the cabinet meeting on the same-sex marriage would most likely take place on Wednesday or Thursday.
Mitsotakis has been resting at home due to flu, his office announced on Monday. According to media, Mitsotakis has been suffering from high fever.
The PM has been diagnosed with the flu strain right after he returned from the Economic Forum in Davos in Switzerland.
According to his office, the cabinet meeting on Tuesday , which was expected to address the same-sex marriage bill, is likely to be postponed. A final decision is anticipated later in the day.
The status of his health will also influence whether Mitsotakis will be able to travel to the USA scheduled on Wednesday, January 24.
Briefing reporters, the government spokesman said that it is doubtful that the PM will travel to the USA.
