A 15-year-old boy was severely beaten by his father and his uncle after he came out as gay. The boy was found bleeding all over his face in the square of a settlement in Patras, western Greece, a few days ago.
Locals found the victim, called for an ambulance and alerted a child charity organization.
The boy was transferred to a local hospital where he received treatment and remain hospitalized until social services decide on his fate.
According to media reports, the boy’s mother, who is divorced from her husband, is supporting the teenager
Police have been alerted, however, it remains unclear whether the father and the uncle have been arrested or even detained.
The boy’s 52-year-old father had the nerve to file a complaint, reportedly claiming that he was attacked by the child first.
I suppose the mother divorced him because of his “stone age”mind,unfortunately there are still many like him tucked away in the cupboard ready to attack should they hear that which threatens their idea of how life should be.
