Covid-19 Greece weekly: 35 deaths, increase in hospitalizations and infections

Hard epidemiological indicators of Covid-19 such as deaths and positivity are constantly increasing in Greece, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said in its weekly report published on Thursday.

At the same time, EODY repeated protection instructions to vulnerable groups of the population urging them to be particularly careful as the positivity is at an all-time high.

Vulnerable population groups (elderly and people with underlying diseases) are advised to scrupulously follow preventive measures against respiratory infections and to seek medical advice in time for symptoms, in order to provide timely treatment. At the same time, it is recommended to the general population, in the presence of respiratory infection symptoms, to limit contacts with people belonging to vulnerable groups.
