Coast guard officers on the island of Tinos have detained 14 passengers after a brawl broke out on a ferry sailing to the mainland in Attica.
According to media reports, the fight stated when two men swung at each other, with some eyewitnesses reporting that one of the two had shown also a gun.

Other witnesses said the fight started when a passenger asked a group of people to quieten down.

Due to the intensity of the confrontation, the captain decided to return the ferry to Tinos, where the coast guard and the police arrested the troublemakers.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on the Super Express ferry, which was sailing from Tinos to Rafina with 717 passengers on board.
On Wednesday, the Coast Guard issued a statement saying that two replica guns were found.
The arrested are to appear before the prosecutor facing charge of “disruption of the maritime traffic.” The three minors were released.
