A 48-year-old man fell from his electric scooter, suffered brain injuries and died in Pangrati district of Athens on Friday.
According to initial information, the man reportedly lost his balance on Ellanikou Street in Pangrati, fell onto the road and was seriously injured in the head.
The incident unfolded in front of passers-by, who immediately called the authorities.
Paramedics who arrived with an ambulance at the scene performed CPR for quite some time.
The man was transferred to Evangelismos hospital nearby but despite doctors’ efforts, he didn’t make it.
Information indicates that the possibility of cardiac arrest is also under consideration. An autopsy is to determine the causes of his death.
