A 15-year-old French student died Thursday night after falling from the third floor of a hotel near Omonia Square in central Athens.
According to initial reports, the teenager was visiting the Greek capital on a school trip with his classmates.
For reasons that remain unclear, he fell from the third floor of the hotel where the group was staying.
An ambulance transported the boy to a children’s hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.
