The Panhellenic Federation of Railway & Fixed-Track Transport Workers have announced a 24-hour nationwide strike for Monday, 23 March, 2026.
Monday, March 23, is the day the trial for the train tragedy in Tempi is scheduled to begin, more than three years after 57 passengers lost their lives.
The 24-hour strike will run from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm and will involve all personnel employed by companies across the entire railway network.
