PASOK leader Evangelos Venizelos tabled Antonis Samaras five conditions for the forming of a coalition government:
1. Coalition government with EU-oriented parties, especially SYRIZA, Democratic Left and ND.
2. PM to be a person of broader acceptance prefrably someone who fits the new order.
3. A minimum programme agreement, i.e. to stay in the euro zone and the EU
4. National plan on reconstruction, prolong the fiscal adjustment (from two to three years), no new taxes, no horizontal cuts on wages and pensions, cash flow to economy and all necessary measures to boost development and growth. 5.
No condition for PASOK officials to participate in the government.
Antonis Samaras currently holds a meeting with Fotis Koyvelis, leader of Democratic Left.
PS It looks as there would be no results after today’s meetings. Samaras is expected to make a statement after the meeting with Kouvelis.
