Personnel working at Greek public hospitals symbolically “occupied” the Health Ministry in Athens on Friday morning and closed the entrance with chains. The Panhellenic Federation of Workers in Public Hospitals (POEDIN) said:
“A year ago the Prime Minister promised 4,500 recruits and increased funding. Nothing was materialized, funding declined, while data shows that employees at Public Hospitals are 2,500 people less than last year.”
