Enjoy the sunshine on Saturday, because the weather forecast sees rain, hail, clouds and very strong winds for Sunday and Monday. Greece’s National Meteorologist Service issued a warning for May 21-22 2017.
The weather will start deteriorating on Sunday morning from the North-West and will slowly move to the South. Heavy rainfall and even hail storms locally, winds up to 7 Beaufort.

Already before noon, the bad weather front will affect the Ionian islands, Epirus, Western Sterea,
Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
Early afternoon, the bad weather front will move gradually to southwards in the mainland and the Sporades islands, the Eastern and Northeastern Aegean Sea, and Euboea in late evening. At night the phenomena will gradually weaken in the West and the North of the country.

The rain front will be moving southwards rainfalls are expected in Western Peloponnese, Sterea, the Cyclades islands in the early hours. Later it will affect Crete and the south Dodecanese.
Temperatures will remain generally high above 24 degrees Celsius but below 20 C in the West and even below 15-10 C in the mountainous areas.
